Kids Church at Friendship Bible Church is offered for children from birth to 10 years. Downstairs we have a newly renovated area for our children. The renovations include an updated nursery for infants to 2 years old, a new toddler/PreK room for children 3-5, and a main multipurpose area for children 6-10.
A key word at Friendship Bible Church is Children intentional. We believe that we are to provide our children with intentional care, paying close attention and offering healthy affection. All of our teachers and aides have submitted clearances before being able to join the teaching rotation. We desire to present Christ to our children through His Word while providing a safe and inviting atmosphere.
Kids Church uses the Gospel Project curriculum which is Christ-centered and chronological. The curriculum takes the students through the entire Bible in three years, from Genesis to Revelation, teaching the full counsel of the Scriptures. Our PreK/Toddler Class as well as our Elementary class is taught from the same curriculum according to their age appropriate presentation of the material. Friendship Bible Church believes that our Kids Church is a supplement to parental teaching and rearing of their children, and with that, having a curriculum where all children learn the same material is vital to family discipleship.
All children, preschool & elementary, will remain upstairs, in service, during worship and prayer time with their families in the sanctuary until being dismissed to Kids Church.
After the service, parents can pick their children up from their designated classroom areas.
