We at Friendship Bible Church (FBC) believe in a plurality of elders model for ministry. Join us on Sunday mornings at 10am as we faithfully exposit God’s Word to the fellowship at FBC. We believe we are all servants working together (Ephesians 4:10-12), and that we all function together for the same goal of magnifying Christ and for the glory of God. FBC is an elder-led congregation; which is a congregation polity that is led by pastors who are assisted by deacons.
George was saved by God’s grace at 22. His twin brother, John, was saved the next month. Less than a year later, the Lord called George into ministry by teaching at the Atlantic Christian School. Great years of growth – the Lord gave George a thirst for studying God’s Word. He attended Grace Theological Seminary, Liberty University (Two Master Degrees – Theology & Counseling) and graduate work at Dallas Theological Seminary to add to a B.A. in physics. He has pastored at the Berean Church, Beacon Church, Linwood Community Church and Friendship Bible Church (FBC, 1993 to present). George has enjoyed ministering with John for most of his career. He has also loved working with the entire Friendship staff through the years as well. George taught physics for most of his 35-year teaching career, a blessing! He met Carol in 1974. They became best friends, then sweethearts, & then husband & wife in 1984. Besides receiving Christ; choosing Carol was the best decision he ever made! They share a love for Jesus and enjoy serving Him together.

Pastor Paul was born and raised in South Jersey. He met Christ at a young age and felt his first call to ministry as early as 5th grade. He pursued his bachelor degree at Cairn University and Liberty University. At age 19, Pastor Paul married his high school sweetheart, Hunter Grace. While still working towards his degree, Pastor Paul and Hunter, had their first daughter, Selah Grace, 18 months into their marriage. Pastor Paul graduated with a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies in 2020. Shortly after finishing his degree, Pastor Paul and his family moved to Florida. In June 2022 however, the Jones family moved back to South Jersey to answer God’s call to help pastor the young people at Friendship Bible Church. Paul will also be working at Atlantic Christian School, where he will teach High School Bible and coach the Varsity Boy’s Basketball Team. Pastor Paul is now currently working on his Masters of Divinity degree through Liberty University and adjusting to life as a new family of 4 with the addition of their youngest daughter, Kapri Louise. Some of Paul’s passions are watching the Philadelphia Eagles, coaching basketball, and preaching the Word.

Pastor John was born in Atlantic City 12 minutes before his twin-brother George. However, George was “born again” one month before John was. Pastor John has been ministering at Friendship for 30 years. He loves to teach the Word of God and enjoys being a member of the worship team. Dr. Quinn is also the Chair of the doctoral program in Organizational Leadership at Stockton University and serves on the Board of Directors of the Atlantic City Rescue Mission.
Family: Pastor John married his “Proverbs 31” wife, Carol, in 1984 and they have three children – John, Danielle, and Georgie. They are blessed to have a delightful granddaughter, Aegis, who is the child of John and his wife Carter.

Jim & Barb are faithful servants at Friendship. Jim serves as an elder and teaches our Adult Sunday School lives. He is a teacher, mentor, and friend to all the staff at Friendship. He leads various administrative tasks at Friendship, including overseeing the finances and the work of the deacons. Barb is a gifted Sunday School teacher for our elementary school students. Jim has served for many years as Chairman of the Board of the Atlantic City Rescue Mission. Jim & Barb lead the Leap Insurance Company. They are faithful parents and grandparents, having been married for over 50 years. They serve as a great example of Christian love for all at Friendship.
